Bristol’s unemployment rate among the best in the country

Centre for Cities newly published article Cities Outlook 2012 shows that Bristol is one of the highest ranking cities in the UK for employment – despite what it may seem!

Youth unemployment in Bristol is at the low rate of 4.3% compared to Birmingham whose youth unemployment is at 9.4%. Bristol also ranks highly in employment rates at 76.7%, one of the best cities in the country!

The ITV Business Club

Over the past week Lucy Bristow Appointments has been featured on ITV’s The West Country Tonight in a new segment called the ITV Business Club. The main idea behind the segment is grouping businessmen and women together throughout the year and discussing the current issues facing businesses now. Along with five other businessmen and women, Lucy sat down for the first time on Tuesday the 17th  to talk about the unemployment figures which have now reached 2.68 million.

Lucy will be sitting down to discuss more issues facing businesses later on in the year and the video of Lucy and the team is to follow shortly!
