Meet the Team
Lisa Morgan
is our Recruitment Consultant for the Temporaries and Contracts Division, managing the desk and working closely with Katie Dawes. She’s worked with the agency for 3 1/2 years.
She enjoys keeping fit, spending time with family and friends and shopping is a must!
Her most memorable placement: “A candidate had been in the same role for 20 years and been made redundant. She was very low, lacked confidence and was scared of change. We spent a lot of time together, we re-wrote her CV, talked about her skills and experience and went through interview techniques. A senior role came in for an ‘Office Manager’ and she got the job! Now my candidate is a client of mine and is totally a different person, managing a team of 10, very confident and thinks it’s the best job she has ever had.”
Lisa’s mantra for the day: “Our attitude toward life determines life’s attitude towards us.”
Belinda Hurdle
manages all things financial at HQ! She spent five years as a full time Finance Manager and has now set up her own business as a freelance bookkeeper and payroll provider, with Lucy Bristow as one of her favourite clients!
She’s a golf enthusiast who is Lady Captain of her club – we will be keeping a watchful eye on the British Open next year!
Belinda’s mantra for the day: “What’s the worst that can happen?”
Katie Dawes
Katie has been with Lucy Bristow Appointments for over 2 years and manages the Temporaries and Contracts Division alongside Lisa Morgan, looking after Bristol’s clients and candidates. She is a marketing graduate from Bournemouth University and for her first 18 months with Lucy Bristow Appointments, was responsible for all the administration within the office and sourcing suitable candidates. She is enjoying the new challenge!
In her spare time Katie likes to jog and spend time with family and friends. She’s a fan of Chinese food, sunny days and Bank Holidays but hates baked beans and the word ‘penalised’!?
The best thing about working at Lucy Bristow Appointments? “Working with an amazing team and finding candidates the career they are looking for.”
Katie’s mantra for the day: “Smiling is my favourite, you make me smile, that makes you my favourite!”
Alice Hall
Alice has been working with LBA for the last 9 months in her Gap Year. She is with us on a part time basis, providing administrative and creative support to the team and is our resident blogging guru!
She is looking to start her career within PR and Journalism at Chester University this coming September and will be sorely missed when the time comes for her to leave us!
